About Us!
The Victorian Excel Racing Association was formally formed in 2014, with the idea of creating a series designed to provide an affordable and fun entry level to circuit racing.
Starting with as little as 7 Hyundai Excel members participating in the 1st Victorian Excel Series Event at Winton Raceway.
Since 2014 Circuit Excel Racing In Victoria has grown rapidly. We not only have the strongest Excel Competitor Membership in Australia, we also have been the leaders when it comes to filling maximum grid capacities at all 3 Victorian Circuits. Keeping Racing across the field exciting for both competitors and spectators. This in turn Providing a fantastic opportunity to allow us to promote our Championship Series Partners both on and off the track.
With the introduction of our 2 Enduro Events we have been lucky enough to attract some high profile drivers. With our 2018 Phillip Island attracting drives like reining Bathurst 1000 Winner Luke Youlden, Previous Bathurst Winner Jason Bargwanna, Current and Previous Supercar drivers Andre Heimgartner, Adam Macrow and Milinda Price as well as Porsche Cup drivers Fraser Ross and Chelsea Angello just to name a few.
As our series is designed to cater from the beginner to the more advanced drivers we have started to see an increase in junior members making the step up from Karting to Cars. Some of which have already progressed to categories such as Toyota 86, Formula Ford and TA2.
The club not only provides a platform for our junior drivers to progress it is also provides an opportunity for some of our older members to be able to participate in an affordable environment.
